Mughal Collection - A Quintessence of Artistry
The Mughal Empire, widely known as the "gunpowder empire," was formed in 1526 by Mongol chieftain Babur after winning the first battle of Panipat. The empire's stronghold was the northern Indian Indus-Gangetic plains, which included the towns of Delhi, Agra, and Lahore.
Mughal themes are made even more gorgeous by heavy embellishments, strong and traditional dark colours, Zari weaves, and embroidery, which symbolizes the Mughal period's grandeur and richness.
The richness and elegance of Mughal fabrics were woven in threads. For generations, the royals and aristocracy of the region have worn the much-loved Pashmina shawls.
The inspiration for Art and Architecture
In modern times, the influence of Mughal attire on Indian life is enormous. In the present day, we see a resurgence of Mughal design and materials, as well as their craftsmanship, notably in bridal dress. Almost every fashion designer did their hardest to re-use new technology in their designs while employing Mughal dress design to produce a traditional sense in the world of fashion.
Loukiya introduces our fresh new Mughal Collection, which is inspired by the splendour of the Mughal Empire. Loukiya's designs are opulent and figure-flattering, making them ideal for any occasion. In the making of this collection, fine fabrics such as Pure Gergotte were used. Intense threadwork embroidery has been meticulously worked upon to give this line a unique identity.
This Mughal Collection consists of modern contemporary bridal wear with sarees paired with matching blouses. The colour palette shuttles between soft neutrals like cream to vibrant pastels.
The style ethos reflects the sartorial choices of a lady who desires a combination of fantasy, drama, and utility in bridal attire, while the architecture of the Mughal era provides a bright canvas for this collection.
